Can anyone with an current X2 or 200 comment on its skiability in the 32 to 36 mph range. I have sold my 205v and looking for a replacment with more flexibility in rough water.

Thanks in advance!

I am curious about this as well. Didn't own my X-2 long enough to see before I had to winterize.

I ski it all the time and not a problem to me. The wake is bigger then what you are used to for sure. I recommend taking one out on a test drive and see for yourself.

Here is a pic at 36 mph on my 07 X2. Not sure how the wake will turn out in the pic.

Thanks for the photo. I was considering trying to take advantage of the cold weather and not test driving one. Trying to find a deal but I do not think it is worth it. The X2 is a great looking boat.

Get the X2 with the jack plate to flatten the wake out better

Thanks for the photo. I was considering trying to take advantage of the cold weather and not test driving one. Trying to find a deal but I do not think it is worth it. The X2 is a great looking boat.

I should also state no ballast in the boat but we had 6 adults and 5 little kids in the boat when we took that picture. If I had to buy another boat today it would be the X2 again. I love the roominess and useability of the boat. The only things I am adding are more ballast for surfing (as I am not that good of a wakeboarder yet to need it). I still ski behind the boat every other week during the summer.

I would recommend the wake plate to bring the bow down and flatten out the wake like stated above.

3rd that, the wake plate will flatten it out alot, we drove an 08 with 3 ppl the wake was very very small and was tweakable (easily diminished) with the plate.

With the wake plate, it makes it fairly flat table. While I have only been behind mine once since the Dec purchase, it seems a little better than my old 209. It also can pull a footer with the stock prop (14) and MCX with a speed of approximately 42.
