I am headed to Lake Powell, UT in May for a gathering.

We are a group of hard core wakeboarders/wakesurfers who need to rent a boat.

We're used to riding behind X-Star's, X30's, etc.

We would like to rent a boat for the dates of May 24, 25, 26.

If you or anyone you know can help us, please contact me at:

Good Luck! After all the discussion we have had on here about rentals and the liability of it, no one is going to do it.

I would recommend posting on Craigslist. I have gotten a lot of hits from an ad I posted about renting a pontoon boat for Memorial Day Weekend.

This was discussed on a bunch of different forums and I don't think I saw one person say they would be willing to rent to a person. There are insurance problems, liability, etc. Not saying you won't find someone, but its not going to be that easy.

We rented from a place in page about 10 years ago. I cannot remember the name and could not find the receipt. I do know it was pricey with a large deposit to cover prop, shaft, and strut damage. I would pay the money again. Powell is beautiful. The rentals that come from the resorts are POS's. Make sure you rent for Multiple days and get out early in the morning or late at night while the resort rentals are not being used. If it is a busy time, you will not find glass. We went through over a tank a day finding smooth water. Best of luck, I cannot wait until I can get out there again.
