In the spirit of Mfg rivalry, and in honor of all the great Yo Mama jokes; let's see your best Yo Malibu (or Malibu dealer/owner) so ugly/stupid/fat jokes. I'll try to get us started:

Yo Bu dealer so stupid it took him 2 hours to watch 60 Minutes.

I feel kind of bad starting this thread during Easter, but it's all in good fun. :D

Not me!
In fact when i see a thread on MBO with peoples calling MC "Masterscrap" it kind of irritates me and makes me think that those peoples are idiots.
Must be a vice versa thing...

When I look from a distance I don't see much difference, you have to feel and live with each to appreciate the difference. In the interview above Dorton was asked if he was going to introduce a low end boat (read real Malibu competitor).

Agreed,
I have seen plenty of comments on the MBO and wakeboard boards. Haven't seen comments like this on the Mastercraft or Nautique site.

I agree, but that's my favorite "yo mama" joke, so I felt the need to contribute. All in good fun. I think they're all rather nice looking truth be told.

I'm with André. (Maybe it's a Canadian thing. We have to be polite because we are unarmed...8p ) Some of my best friends own Malibus, Tiges, Supras; even a Sea Ray and a Sfvara... There's something positive about every one of them.

Jim@BAWS

"There's something positive about every one of them."

1) I am "positive" that they WISH thay had bought a MC
2) I am "positive" that MC is the BEST made boat
3) I am "positive" that they will always be jealous and make excuses as to why a BU is better.

Some folks cannot see things in front of there face. I am not BRAIN WASHED nor are owners of this great product. I talk until I am blue in the face trying to explain the difference. Yes a MC is MORE expensive...upfront. Heck it is built to a different standard. MC will make up 20-30% of the difference in resale than the competitor. You end up paying less for a MC in the long run because of resale. Look it up for yourself at NADA.com. See how a MC holds its values better after 3-5 years. (Make sure you compare apples to apples) People always get upset when they find out that they did not get the best for there money. Guys rest assured they comments are because they KNOW they screwed up. Lets convert em all

Really people... I started this thread all in good fun. My main ski partner has a Response LX. It's a great boat! The wake is better than mine. As are the wakes on the 98 and 04 nautiques I ski behind at my lake. The quality of those are just as good as MC as well. Of course I'm having my '02 197 hull fixed as we speak so that will no longer be an issue. My Malibu/Nautique friends and me are always having fun "one upping" each other over our boats." I'm sure you all do the same.

I am truly sorry to be so in-politically correct as to start an "all in good fun" joke thread. I didn't mean to hurt any Bu feelings, or lower the integrity of the TT site.

If you like we can change the thread to "Yo Moomba so ugly..."

Now that certainly cannot offend anyone on this site! If so please revoke my membership on this site, TMC in general and trade my 197 Prostar for a 1987 Bayliner w/90 hp Force outboard (oh crap that may have offended all those who feel Bayliners are just as good as MC; sorry.).

Honestly, I think that Malibu's look like Glastron's - The high gunnels and the lines of the gel coat are identical. Skied my PB behind one last year though and took second at the State Championships behind one too,

I dont care what boat i'm riding behind. Just as long as i'm riding. I love being behind my MC but if that isnt an option i'll ride behind anything! Just as long as i am on the water.
