Hey I came across a 86 stars and in pretty good shape none the less.
Guy is asking $2500, Trailer and all, runs needs some interior work tlc but everything is there even the back seat. I think it would be a fun boat to own and mess around with. What ya guys think?

For $2500 if it runs and isn't completely beat you should be able to fix it up and have a great ski boat or make a few bucks. Go for it.

Sounds like a good deal. But as Duckguy said, there wasn't a stars and stripes in '86, so what is it really.

Solid color hull and deck with a tri color rainbow decals on the sides, bow deck, transom deck and transom. One of a kind from MC if there ever was one, but replacement decals are near impossible to find and hard/expensive to reproduce, because the color was printed on the vinyl decal base. Anyone who does wraps could make replacement decals, but they will cost you.

It'd be worth the money for sure............. look what I did for little to nothing.. Of course one of my best friends is a boat mechanic/ upholstry/ do it all type... I had a hand in it but LOTS of help.. Irreplaceable advice here on the board too...
