View Full Version : Couple Tower Speaker Questions

1) If I have an 07 XStar with one pair of factory JL Tower speakers with built in lights, what could I expect to pay (ballpark) for a second set from a MC dealer (with and/or without lights)?

2) If I found a pair of factory JL Tower speakers removed from an 07 X-30, would they be exactly the same as the ones on an 07 X-Star?

I searched around a bit but couldn't really find these specific answers.

All 2007/2008 tower speakers are identical. Only option was with or without lights.

I think the ball park for no lights is around $1770 for 2, if I remember correctly... Man I have some saving to do!

I found a pair that were never used being sold for $500 for the pair (no lights). Sounds like a deal I should pounce on.

Lenny, What part of Allentown are you from? I was born and raised in Allentown until I moved away when I was 21. Hard to believe I have now almost been gone in the Southeast as long as I lived there. I lived about a mile North of the Allentown fairgrounds.

well a mile north of the fairgrounds would have put you right around my old house on 19th street. Now we live about 5 mins away from the old house, right in South Whitehall Township. Things have really changed up here. If you ever in the area shoot me a pm!

Oh and yeah you gotta do that deal!!! Before I do! Jk

Yep, I lived (and my parents still do) right around 18th and Highland streets.

We will be up there visiting in April... too bad it isn't boating season yet. ;-)

Yeah I doubt Lake Wallenpaupack will be very comfortable in April, however we've done it before. But yeah let me know when your up. If you see a Suburban with a MasterCraft sticker in the center thats us!

I don't know whens the last time you were up...but if you know where the new Target store is were only about a mile down Winchester Road.
