Don't know the exact size of the hole but 6.5" speakers fit. I used a set of Infinity Kappa 6.5"

Mine are approximately 5-1/4" holes and these are Boston speakers that are 6-1/4" with the grille on and the little ones are 1-1/4" holes, hope that helps. :D

You would be ok with 6.5", and I got a deal on these and didn't even think about depth when I got them and thank goodness when I went to put them in they fit. :D

6.5 standard depth will work perfectly. What are you looking to put in there. I have some MB Quarts in mine and they sound awesome. If you want to play it loud, try to get something with an external crossover. It will split the frequencies and put them to their respective speaker ie. tweeter or woofer, and make them sound much cleaner.

I just reached up behind the panel and felt for the holes. They are really easy to find. Then hold your breath and cut the vinyl with a razor knife. I cut an x first then trimmed the vinyl about 1" smaler than the hole. You will have to cut / pull out the padding as well. Really easy to do except getting the stones to cut the perfect vinyl. Took me about an hour to install all four speakers.

I have been really happy with the Infinity Kappas. Running them off of deck power supplemented by a 10" sub. They crank pretty good.

Mine are in the factory spots and you don't need to remove the panel, it's cramped but do-able. Just make sure you have enough wire through the hole to hook up before you screw/mount to the panel, the little ones have a bracket in the back that are bigger than the hole and a nut to pull the speaker towards the bracket. :D Good luck.

That's how I did the small ones. :D
