Hi there,
I am going to reupholster my corner seat and rear bench. The skin that I have removed has a foam backing. It seems to be difficult to find vinyl with a foam backing. I have talked to a few people about this some have said that you need to sew the foam in other have said that you just glue it in place on the vinyl then cut it out.

The upholsterer that I talked to said that they would not recommend glueing it as the glue might fail and this will lead the puckers and creases etc.

What do you think?? Can you give me the email of someone who does alot of marine vinyl??

I have found one supplier of the foam backed vinyl(greatlakesskipper.com). Should I use a pre glued foam backed vinyl, would that be any better than gluing my own??
