Someone is looking into buying my trailer:D . I need a galvanized one:( . My question is will a 1994 Prostar 205 fit right on a 2001 xstar single axle trailer? I'm not sure if the prostar is direct drive or Vdrive. Thanks for any input you can give.

Probably pretty close. That era of 205 is a couple of inches shorter and a couple of inches narrower. My father in law designed his lift cradle after his trailer (98 205) and I had no problem putting my 93 205 on it. But then again, trailers may require a pretty exact fit and those two hulls are not identical.

don't know for a fact, but I thought the x star had a deeper v to it than the 205's. I would think you could make it work, but may have to redo height of the inner bunkers.

I think it was still the same hull as the second generation 205 in 2001, which would still be different than the 94. Probalby need to check C36s write up at this point as I can't remember when the new Xstar came out.

Hey, Jim. Do you have a leftover 2007 MC GALV trailer on the lot? What color are the fenders? What's your phone number/email?

That was not something that I did on purpose. The site was loading very very slow this afternoon. My bag but it was not on purpose

But I do have a trailer, thats for sure

sorry, I guess you haven't been reading those threads. I have called every Mastercraft dealer in the Southeast to ask about a new fuel line. I need to know the size fittings that I have so I can get one made. There are no shops around here that can do it. I have been given a different answer from every dealer I have called. I called Holley and they gave me yet another answer.

No big deal, I mean it is an 18 year old boat. I'll find a shop that can do it before it hits 80 here.

:)

Thanks for trying to help though. Just about impossible without seeing it in person.

Jim, if you've got one, use it to fashion some more. The solid lines that match up with the fuel pumps on the older MCs are hard to come by.

Well, I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt if we are talking solid fuel lines.

No one answered the trailer question yet, dealers help??

I believe length is no problem, the question is if the bunks will allow the boat to sit flat on them. If not, the brackets for the bunks would need to be adjusted or cut and re-welded. Not a big deal for a welder to do. You might be able to just shim the bunks if it's only off by a little.
