When I was looking into it, a couple people told me to go to a cabinet place. Talked to a couple, and they said if I could show them an example, or give measurements, they could do it.

Could be they read it here on TT and are avoiding you, knowing you may call.
Your investment partners may not take too kindly to your dragging your feet when it comes to getting a prototype platform produced and establishing a business relationship with someone for their future production needs.

60 dollars plus tax.Had them ship 2 one for the g/f's 96 190.They built my platform in 1998 and have all the patterns.Under contract with major ski boat companies now.Real class act,the blocks even match the grain pattern.MC dealer wanted 100 dollars and only the thin strip, plus shipping. Here is a couple shots with the ski on there. It is tall and just what I ordered as I dont want to scrach the gelcoat on my transom

That way if you can get thru to them from the West Coast and rotly can't, we know where in the problem lies!

Naw... I was actually pondering costs. Trying to figure out if the fiberglass is actually cheaper or more expensive, than teak. I heard teak was getting to be like mahogany and is difficult to come by.....

Alot of the teak today is farmed rather than taken from the wild, but the quaility is nowhere near as good as the teak that has grown naturally in the wild.
It is a lighter shade and somewhat softer with less oils, wears and goes bad faster.

So if a new teak one is around 300 then what's the cost on the fiberglass? I saw this on my local craigslist, is this a good deal?
It's for an x-45 but if that's a good deal and looks good I'll get it for resale.
