Just bought my first mastercraft a 04 X-Star and wanted to make it stand out. Does anyone know anything about putting aftermarket wheels on the trailer? (This is a sweet website with tons of info)

With enough money, you can make anything work in the BLING section.......

First welcome! I also have an X-star (2005)
Second, we need pics of your boat/trailer.

If you're staying with the same size wheels, I would think a good speed shop could help with lots of wheel choices. Take an old wheel with you so they can measure lug spacing, wheel offset, etc. If you have the stock alum. wheels from MC, you could sell them here in the "marketplace" section.

Wakecraft is coming out with a DD, ZR Ski or something. I wonder if Rod had anything to do with it?

Yeah, I guess he was part of product development. He has a few renderings of it... it looks pretty cool.

I think is is a custom. Here is the thread (http://tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=15803) about his other one.

the trailer is custom, notice I dont touch the boat, I dont think it gets any better than a mastercraft, I think the trailers could be a little better, just my opinion, I had a single axle and just wasn't feeling it

Whats the bolt pattern on the trailer? Also, what size of rim and wheel did you go with? Thanks!!

It has 5 x 4.5 wheel pattern and I was looking at trying to fit 18" KMC wheels or If I could find the PWT Edition wheels. What do you think? Any other good wheels.

You might want to check-out the new wheels they are putting on the 40th Anniv. trailers. They are still an MC trailer I believe so maybe they will just bolt-up, but you'll want verify that.

Already checking on that. :D I was just wondering the bolt pattern and max size, and may look for some aftermarket ones as well.

I tried to message erkoehler I found some pics in a past thread where he was talking about matching rims on a Excursion and a PWT X-Star but never heard back. I also need to replace the cd player and remote switch what brand do you like that would fit right in skeeler.

skeeler, those are 5 on 4.5 20X8.5 inch wheels, they have a 0 offset so they dont stick out they tuck in pretty nice and dont throw trash on the boat
