45/50, pretty much what I'd expect after all of the children who have been kidnapped molested and murdered down here over the past year.

Tennessee is not safe but it is above average on the health scale. Hmmmmm. Must be all of the "wonderful" drivers causing the safe numbers to go down. I swear, turning signals are an option on cars shipped to this State.

Funny, I don't think turn signals are even available on cars in Florida, not from some of the crap I've seen in my short time down here.

I think there are 1's and 50's in every state. Town I live in is a 1, Gary Indiana is a 50.

Indiana is in the middle for both. Gary and the health problems of people along the Ohio cause big problems for us.

Alaska is high because during winter it is dark all of the time. People get depressed by it, sit around and get drunk. Plus high poverty rate. Those three don't mix very well. Not sure what happened to Tennessee though, maybe all of the meth lab explosions.

Along the same lines I read where the obesity problem is going to fix the social security budget problem. Expecting a turn down of years lived over the next few years.

Texas is not very safe, but atleast things are getting better...2004 = 9, 2005 = 11. What do you expect from a state that carries guns and drives big trucks. ;)
