Last night I followed up on a add for a 2001 PS190 and the owner described it as blue, but didn't have any picutres of it. Based on his description it sounded like a darker blue color.

Does anyone have a picture of a '01 in this color to help me get a feel for what this would look like?

Thanks

Not to put the cart before the horse, but if you get that (or a similar) boat I have a 3 color Johnson bimini that matches it perfectly that I am not using any more. Let me know if you, or anyone else, for that matter is interested. The blue is a good looking boat, here's mine

Thanks for all the info. At this point we are just casually looking, but I keep getting caught on 01's because of the interior improvements over the prior years. I am focusing on a 99 and a 01 both of which are in great shape, but it is looking like $2500-3000 extra to get into the 01. Any thoughts?

The 01 PS has about 300 hrs, blue, blue trailer with pivot, Perfect Pass, and 1 year left on the waranty. I'm not sure how accurate blue book is, but it says 18-20k. It would be a private party sale (owner is either going to sell it or trade it this spring on a new one). I would appreciate any input on what you think it is worth. I was thinking 21-22k. Am I in the ball park?

Lake Louise is located in College Station, Texas (Home of the Fightin Texas Aggies and the George Bush presidential library).

Yes, I agree it is sweet. Linda and I have been living here on the lake for the last 18 months and life is good.

The 2001 is, with a few minor modifications, i.e., hook and rudder, essentially the same as the current Pro Star hull.

Absolutely positively without a doubt go with the '01. Well worth the extra $3k

Blue is one of the best colors on a MasterCraft IMO of course.

Off season, I would go with mid to low blue book for a first offer, you can always come up if you want or need to. I bought mine in the fall and paid around the low end of blue book value. We really liked how much bigger the 01 seemed than the late 90s prostars that we test drove. That little extra width goes a long way when you have a couple of extra people in the boat. But hey, they're all nice boats, buy what you can afford or like the most.

I don't have a picture of one, but after my wife and I spent some time in a blue 01' 190 I am not allowed to buy a boat of any other color. I thought she was kidding at first but I found out that she was dead serious.

Well, I damn near did it when I saw this pic.......... It was like one of those freaks you see on the street.. First time you look you kinda go heh.... then you look again and a gasp comes out... tried to drink from my cup 3 times, and every time a guttural laughter came out and damn near made a mess!
