I am trying to figure out what carb I have on my 351. Where is the model number stamped? All I have found is a slew of stamped numbers on one side. Thanks.

#'s may not be necessary.

Holley 4160 has 1 fuel line going to the port side of the front carb bowl.

Holley 4010 has a 1 line that splits into 2 lines, 1 going to the Starboard side of the front carb bowl and 1 going to the Starboard side of the carb rear bowl.

The following picture is that of a 4160, the 4160 or 4010 is all the info you need to find rebuild kits or a replacement carb,

This past spring I had the same issue. I couldn't figure out what carb I had either...all the stupid numbers all over the thing, and NONE said 4010 or 4160!!! I gave up, took it to a bud of mine that runs a speed shop, and he rebuilt it. Just that simple! :headbang: :woohoo:

Assuming its a Holley, you need the LIST number. Its located on the choke horn. Once you get that, call the Holley tech line or Summit Racing and they can tell you what model you have, and which rebuild/renew kit you need.

Not true. There are a ton of different Holley kits for various 4160 flavors. Granted, theres a 99% chance he has a 600cfm, but there are several different kits for those too. He needs to know the list number to get the correct kit.

Thanks, understood, but in my case I just gave my carb man 4160 and the rebuild was history. We may have just got lucky!
