My manifolds and risers seem to be leaking a little and i would like to remove them to inspect their condition and replace the gaskets. Where can I buy the gaskets for oem indmar manifolds and risers, i can't seem to find them on skidim. The engine is a mastercraft rtp-1 (vortec 350). Also where can i get the mounting screws, can i replace them with stainless (the boat is used in salt and the stock ones are rusting). When i reinstal them how much do i torque them down?

I would not use stainless steel bolts. Stainless steel is significantly weaker than the hardened grade 8 steel bolts that are on there now. You will torque the bolts for the manifold to head to 35 ft-lbs. If you do that with stainless you won't get the same clamp load as you would with the grade 8 steel bolts. I would also let all of those bolts soak with some penetrating lubricant for a day or so before trying to remove them. If they are as corroded as you say you don't want one snapping off in the head.

Yeah, he mentioned skidim and I knew they had them because I ordered them for my 205. Plus, I wanted a link with a picture, what can I say other than your local MC dealer also has this product as well as the fine dealers who frequent this board.

www.mymastercraft.com has an online parts catalog, but may not be open until 1/5/08. I am unaware of any other MC dealer that offers the ability for you to order parts for you boat online.

Thanks for the help, gaskets have been ordered. Would you guys recomend a high temp silicone one the gaskets or just the gaskets? If so which silicone should i use?

I recommend you put some gasket silicone on because I did not on mine and they leaked a little for a while. i do not know what type to recommend.

Back when I did my riser gaskets, IIRC, JimN recommended airplane gasket sealant available at NAPA. But certainly don't go with my memory alone on that.

I got some from MC that were blue, they are silicone coated and self sealing and I installed then 7 years ago w/o any sealant and still no leaks.
