The following MasterCraft and MariStar brochures are available for download.

A special thank you goes out to FrankSchwab, JohnE, phickman, and 87 TriStar 190 for taking the time to forward the files and/or brochures they had.

The PDF files recently assembled from jpg’s (1997 & 1998 MC and 1998, 1999, 2000 MS) may have issues – the pages may be out of order, etc. as these were reassembled without having a hard copy to check against. If you notice anything out of order with these files, please let me know and I will try to correct it as soon as I can. Also please note that some of these documents are a little cumbersome to navigate through (this may be due to the differing page sizes). I noticed that a double click on “PgDn” may be required to move to the next set of pages. If someone knows how to correct this, also please let me know. Thank you.

Enjoy.

Thanks for all the great work C36.

Does anyone have any brochures from the 70's? There are quite a few of us with late 70's boats who would love to see some factory literature. I seem to remember having seen some brochures, although they could have been early 80's stuff. I remember when the Water Ski show we used to go to in Tomahawk, WI had Ying Yang stickers for sale, as well as some other promotional stuff. They were using MC from as early as perhaps 1974 or 1975.

I have a 1992 Maristar 240 with a factory 454 HO. I need a brochure or manual that tells the horsepower and torque rating of that engine. Anyone have one?

Thanks,

Indmar and Mastercraft never published torque ratings, but the hp ratings were 330hp for the standard 454 and 425hp for the HO 454 version. look up at knowledge section to download a mastercraft owners manual you can also download an indmar engine owners manual at indmar.com

Decent history, great post.

The manuals, which don't have the HP numbers

http://www.mastercraft.com/knowledge/owners_manuals

Specific to your year...

http://www.mastercraft.com/files/manuals/1991-1993_OwnersManual-MS210-MS240-MS240SC.pdf

Best guess, either 330hp or 400hp...purely based on searching google. Edit, take number above.

Failing that, general HP numbers for marine grade engines...

My original mastercraft manual from 89 has the hp listed. I can't imagine much difference from 89 to 92.

thanks. The owners manual is very useful.

But it was the sales brochures I was interested in.

I am curious about options , covers and boat layout.

Not exactly what you're looking for... But...

http://www.waterskimag.com/ski-boats/2004/01/23/mastercraft-boats-2004-x-2/

I also took a look at the way back machine, MC media back then was pretty interesting. But no brochures.

Worth reading...

There are some PDF search sites, didn't find anything there. May want to try to setup an eBay or google notification to see if any come up for sale (brochures that is).

Lastly, I'd send a note to MasterCraft directly asking for help. You may be surprised at what they'll do for you.
