I like the straight line links of the first one. seems more organized to me.

It's only color differences right?

Also depends on what it is going to be used for, but I like the first one best.

b gets my attention, but a is more soooooooooooothing. depends upon what you are trying to achieve.

thanks for the input fellas!

I'm no web designer and have really been trying to learn Corel Draw X3

I'd rather go with the colors in B (Go IOWA in '08) but I think trying to blow the text up in an oval wasn't working

Given a choice strictly between A and B, I gotta go A, and it's because of the text in the ovals.

Why do you have to choose? Use A for the Maristar crowd, and B for the X crowd.

Being an Iowa State Grad I can't stand the colors of the 2nd page! Seriously I do like the first page better - heck I don't like ISU's colors any better!

I think "B" looks much better, if you could make it easier to read.

A looks for organized and therefore a easier path for me to follow.

The text in the oval of B is difficult to read. I think the colors are better on B though. It it were me, I would try putting several sample images of graphics you have done as a back ground image and then see which colors stand out better on top of the image. Maybe you could stitch several images together to get a representative sample from each category of images. Right now, the page does not really grab me, but I love the image you have of the skier in the marketplace. That image should be on your home page with others to pull people in.

A is easier to read. The text in the ovals on the second one is a little tough on the eyes.
