I looked at that one....IMO it was no deal. Oxidized hull, faded torn upholstery, and very rusty engine.....definite saltwater boat.

Only 300 hours??? I wonder if that's the original engine, that would only be about 21.5 hours/year. Sounds nice.

I know that year has the absolute best ski wake, or are you a wakeboarder? 95 is when they went to a deeper hull........

Had a 95 that was my favorite of all the MC"s I've owned. I just liked the boat all around, especially the deeper gunnels now that I have small kids.

For what it's worth, I think the 95 205 was same hull as 94. The 190's only switched in '95. We have the 94 and gunnels are ok in my opinion for kids (ours are 2-1/2 and 8 months..). We have had multiple <2 yr olds on the boat w/o concerns. Plus it skis good too. Enjoy the warm weather. People are ice fishing on our lakes now.

p.s. Thanks for the calendar, got it a few days ago.

Glad you got the calendars! Enjoy!

95 205's still had the lower gunnel. I'll definetely hold out for the higher gunnell. Like Easty, I am questioning the need for an open bow. Seems like the whole time I owned an open bow direct drive I was more paranoid about taking water over the nose when people where sitting up there.

I loved my 93, but I don't miss the open bow a bit. To the contrary, I wonder what I did without all of this storage.

The open bow seems to be something that is nice to have when you need it, but would rather not have if you don't need it... Kids in the 6+ age range seem to love it, so if we have 2 of those with us, it's nice to put them up there so they can enjoy the ride while we ski. I'll admit this is at 6 or 7 am and the water is calm & we're not worried about them getting thrown out. All depends on where and how you use the boat.

The only drawback to the 205 is the small observer seat. Not good for two guys... I know ETS had a sweet jumpseat to overcome this issue, it's on my to do list, but not sure where. I think this makes the 197 perfect for a next boat in 5-10 years.

The other issue with having people up front is that the extra weight tends to make the ski wake on the 205 a bit harder. While kids may not add enough weight to make a wake difference, we had a no little ones in the bow rule in effect. The jump seat was one of my favorite upgrades.
