Your local dealer should be able to hook you up. If not or if they are too far away try BAWS, MYMC or Rambo Marine. Any of them should be able to send you a couple.

Hey, TMCNo1. i really like your avatar. is that a gorilla or a chimpanzee? they are my favorite animals to view whenever i get to go to a zoo. gorilla's are my favorite but the chimps are interesting, also. when you look into the eyes of a higher-order primate it's easy to see how closely we are related to them. they look back at us just as intently as we are looking at them. i always feel like i can communicate with them just by looking at them. they are truly beautiful animals and i believe we should be proud to have descended from them. i hope this doesn't offend anyone but it's really easy to see why they are related to us.

My thoughts exactly. I think I picked some up at Home Depot or Ace the last time I got some. Just Stainless parts, pretty easy to get.

I don't know what it is, it just reminded me of my Uncle Roofus and thought it was cute. Uncle Roofus would sit around with his thumb in his mouth till someone said something out of the way, then he'd go APE on them! He never did fit it too well at Christmas, he'd walk around the tree scratching his butt, picking off all the banana ornaments and giving one to everybody, just waiting for someone to open their mouths!:D

There needs to be a name for this type of post. Thread jack doesn't even begin to do it justice.

and to perpetuate the new genre, what was the cub's leadoff hitters name from the early 80's, bobby deere? i still haven't fully recovered from their collapse in the nlcs in '84. maybe i'll live long enough to see the rebs win another nc and the cubs win a ws. merry christmas.

Do you take your platform off all the time. If not, stainless bolt, nut, and lock washer.

The spring-pins tend to break. Mine are held on like Tex suggests. I only take my platform off during spring cleanup and in winter storage.

I use stainless cotter pins. The MC spring pins are a pain.

Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware, TrueValue Hardware too.

This is true, before my MC I had a mercruiser and about a year after I got it the drive hit bottom, nothing major but it did blow out a tiny o-ring that let the bottom end fluid drip out. The dealer wanted $90 for a complete bottom end gasket/ring kit and couldn't get the part seperate. I didn't need a complete kit so I went to Home Depot and picked up the same rubber o-ring for $.42 cents put it on and used that boat for 8 more years without a drip and sold it. Check those places for accessories then go dealer if all else fails, obviously you can't get props there but pins and clips and little things yes.
