I need to get my sales team members the annual Christmas gift. I hate to do gift cards and have budgeted about $75 per person. They are mostly mid to late 30's and a mix of male and female. I have thought about some nice wine glasses (riedel, spiegelau) but looking at other suggestions

One of the best bonus gifts I ever received was a night's hotel and dinner at either Hot Springs or a casino in Shreveport. It really turned out to be a relaxing time.

I would do a nice card and some cash.. I know it is kind of impersonal, but they can use it for whatever wherever they want. A gift card to me is ALMOST saying they're an afterthought or they have to shop or eat where YOU choose. Plus the bang for the buck might not be there. You also don't want to waste money on something they don't need or want. Just sayin

Riedels are very nice. We have quite a few. They also make other glasses if you want to mix it up a bit.

Be aware that they are very fragile. We wash ours in the dishwasher, but have racks to put them in to keep them safe...

I really like the Martini glasses:

and these cool Champagne flutes:

I think Monte has a good suggestion. with giving cash. Also, if you do give gift cards, don't give everyone cards from the same place. I think it's nice to get a gift card if someone takes the time to figure out where I like to shop.

WallMart gift card saves $.03 for every gallon of gas bought there. This morning $2.72 / gal = $2.69 / gal..

I went to a wine store and had them make-up a basket for each of my team members with wine, a couple of glasses, etc.. I simply gave them a dollar amount not to exceed and told them when I neede to pick them up and it was done.
Whatever you do, do not give out gift cards to a spa/salon for the women, and home depot for the guys....sad that you have to think of who this may offend by "***-uming" but you do. If you go with gift cards, make it universal across the board.
