USA

My sister went to Hawaii and bought us one that was flown over the USS Arizona. Beautiful but we are scared of having it out. We don't allow it to be rained on or get to much sunshine for fear of fading. Stars are all embroidered and the stripes are sewn together. No printing on this one.

You could get a memorial box to put it in and display and it would last alot longer. In this web site under "Memorials" they have them!!!

I got my flag at Farm and Fleet and they're pretty good about selling "American Made" but that's not a yes either. I'll check next time I'm in there!!!

I know, that is something that a division of my company makes. My father is adamant that a Flag should be flown and not put in a box. He works in college athletics so July 4th is his big holiday (was the only day he had off while I was growing up) so we have lots of flags and flag themed items.

Our Flag hangs off the front of the boathouse so I worry that it will fall in the water. For Christmas mom is getting dad a new flag pole and stronger bracket.

USA baby!

It goes out every morning unless it's raining, and comes in every evening when it gets dark.

When it gets worn, we have two choices. We can either send it to the American Legion, or to the Boy Scouts to dispose of it ceremonially.

Flag Retirement Ceremony (http://www.legion.org/?section=americanism&subsection=flag_unserviceable&content=flag_ceremony)

My wife insists on it...

Made in USA, as those Asian made flags fly like they are heavy, must be the lead in the red!
