LSU just announced that Michigan has asked to speak with Les Miles. LSU said O. K. after SEC championshio game Sat. LSU will then meet with him next week to offer more money.
What do you think. Will he go?

I am not sure. i hear he is not the guy Michigan is really sold on. But LSU fans do not have a real love for him either so i am sure they will not mourn his leaving!! He is not one of the stronger coaches in the BEST (yes i said BEST) football conference in the country!!! He makes a ton of dumb decisions.

Go VOLS!!! Beat LSU Sat in Atlanta!!!!

Rumors here at the Universty of Illinois are the same and along with that they're saying Zook (Illinois coach 9-2 on the year) will be offered LSU! Illinois always seem to be the stepping stone to bigger and better things. Couple of years ago we had Bill Self and he bailed out to Kansas. Oh yea we had thew No. 1 team in the nation all season long in 04-05 but it was with a team Self recruited.

From my experience with college coaching searches and talking to agents and boosters and administrators, once a school asks permission to speak with a coach the deal has already been worked out and the "formaility" of an interview must be conducted to satisfy the administration
