What is the best protectant to use on the rubber around the boat? I am trying to find something that does not leave a oily build-up that dust sticks to.

I know there is a 303 for rubber. I haven't used it on anything in the boat, but I have used it for treating and protecting the rubber roof on my 5th wheel. If this helps you any?

It's some protectant stuff that my camper dealer recommended. You mean you can actually use it on a boat also?

Astroglide! I only use the best on my rubber!

Won't Astroglide rub off since it is water soluble?

My point exactly! That way the rubber on the platform will last forever!

I was not speaking of rubber platform! I really wish you would learn your MasterCrafts!! I was speaking of the rubber on the trailer fenders. JEESH!

Yes ricardo. When water touches astroglide, it disappears!

If your rubber off the swim platform landed on your trailer fender and it fits, glue it on and get some more platform rubber!  :D

peanut butter is water soluble?

It is and I suppose some creamy peanut butter, left out in the sun on the rubber and the sprayed off would leave behind a very nice protection.

properly abated maybe a better phrase

Yeah, Master UMP is correct. Used peanut butter should not be sprayed off and let flow down the storm drains. Used peanut butter is truly a biological hazard.

ump is a master at abatement of peanut butter
