Show is over now, but it was about Aphaganistain War w/ America Soliders SEALS / RANGERS to be exact.

Watch the repeat if possible, you won't be dissapointed.

Happened on Takur Ghar mountain in Afghanistan back in 2002. Neil Roberts was a SEAL team member who was stranded on the mountain top during an aborted helicopter landing during an al-Queda ambush. Team members wouldn't leave him and went back. Special forces members also joined the fray to rescue a brother in arms.

Ending is not a fairy tale as lots of men lost their lives including Roberts but it gives a first person narrative of the commitment these courageous men have towards each other.

Highly recommend the book. Roberts Ridge by Malcolm MacPherson.
