Rick and I spent pretty much all day cleaning up leaves and putting away lawn furniture. So are we the only ones who spent the day having fun with leaves? What's your yard like?

Here are a few pictures of the work that was cut out for us. Yesterday the leaves were falling at a rapid pace.

This is what our yard looked like this morning. Our two rental properties were just as bad.

Looks good Sue!

Seems like I dip all of my leaves from the bottom of my pool :(

I did clean up my MIL's yard yesterday with my son's.

That sounds like a pain. Do you have it covered?

Yes, but at the end there is an opening and I did not have the 2x4 or anything to block that.

That sounds like a pain. Do you have it covered?

Well my yard has been done several times by my parents, so today I'm going to be finshing the leaves and mowing the grass and who knows what else while my dad replaces the old bay window.

Don't you or your neighbors have any trees? Or, do you live in a condo type place where it's done for you?

Leaves were my plan this long weekend, but the yard has been covered with a thin layer of snow. Looks like I may be able to get-r-done today.
Steelers dont play until tomorrow night, so it all works out.

I use one of these (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_07177013000P?vName=Lawn+%26+Garden&cName=Power+Lawn+Equipment) craftsman 4 in 1 vacuum mulchers. I use the leaves I pick up to insulate my garden beds for the winter.

Leaves and snow! Sometimes you miss it sometimes you don't
Your yard looks awesome.

Have you winterized your boat yet?

Jim@BAWS

PS Don't really know how to do that either

Rick winterized our boat on Thanksgiving when we got back to the house. If the weather is good, which translates to the lake isn't frozen over yet, there is high probability that we will go for a ski outing on Christmas day. Then it will have to be winterized again.

I let the wind take care of my leaves!
