I'm not insterested in buying a second boat.
but I just found a 1999 ProStar 19ft. openbow in Oklahoma City with ZeroFlex tower and wakeboard racks...
just went through and spent $1800.00 on new guages and stereo.

single axle trailer
$16,500 negotiable!
I told him about TMC's board and he's going to e-mail me some pictures tomorrow.
seems like a good price, and he's selling because he bought a newer boat

anyone interested?

I met the guy who owns the MC dealer in OK at SWCC one day. Nice guy. Said I had a nice boat. Who was I to argue. ;)

I think its a wonderful time for you to help other MC owners find their dream boat, especially at a great price. I'd only recommend you list them in the classifieds and put "not my boat/s" just listing it for info.
Thanks again!

very good/sound advise:)
I was simple going to post a boat I'd found, then found more and more

but like a lot of my ideas, they tend to go a different direction once I get started....

THAT drives my wife nuts!!! :uglyhamme

I used to check the classifieds on the old board because they were displayed in the New Posts with regulars threads.
Now i don't think of going to the "Marketplace" for them since the new board has open...
Maybe if i was in the market for a boat...

Totally Agree. They need to make those links at the top a little more noticeable. I know they're there, but I just don't think about them like I did on the old board.

I'm pretty sure that's a Sportstar 19 OB, rather than a Prostar 190. This boat basically became the 195/X5, which was introduced in 2000, although the 195 may have been based on the current 190 hull (not sure on that one). The hull on the 99 Sportstar is that of a 95--97 Prostar 190. It's a no-frills boat, and hence, the lower price. But don't let that stop you. I've skied the closed bow version of this boat and they are great for slalom. That price seems like what I remember seeing them listed for in the past. Sometimes less, but probably didn't have the tower.

I do like that hard shell motor cover look

better than the upholstery/carpeted one on mine

that black gauge isn't a perfect pass gauge is it? I can't see it very well

The hard motorbox wasn't very popular. 1999 was the only year it was used. I can't see the guage in taht picture. Ordinarily, Perfect Pass will replace the right-side speedo, unless, and quite probably on this boat, there's a special opening for perfect pass. It has the same dash setup as the 99 prostars (different from 98). Perfect Pass is an optional accessory, so I don't know what they put in that dash space if the buyer doesn't order Perfect Pass.

Well I sold my X10 yesterday and finished the paper work on my new X9. I still have to have some options installed so it will be a week or so before I can pick it up. Thanks for all of your help. The selling lead came off of www.dallasboats4sale.com . Great website...a must if you are selling a boat in the dallas, Tx area.

Congrats, April! I love that website. There's a www.houstonboats4sale.com, too for those humidity lovers down there in my old home town. The Dallas site has more leads though. Can't wait to see pictures of your new boat. Will you be putting it up for sale in a week or so? I don't know if I'll recognize you without that ad in your signature. ;)
