I am thinking about selling my stock prop and OJ Legend 4 Blade and buying a new prop. Both will need resurfaced. Would $100 total be a resonable price to ask for both props?

True, I bought it. I was thinking of letting both of these go for a total of $100. (1- OJ Legend 4 Blade, and 1 stock prop)

So they both need to be refinished you say? That adds an extra $100 or so to the price depending on round trip shipping to OJ.

Yes both need resurfaced. Shafts are in good shape but the blades are rough.

Yep, I am keeping the prop I bought from you as a spare. Selling my stock 3 blade and this 4 blade. Today I bought a Acme 541 :wavey:

I'm trying to figure out which transmission and prop shaft I have....
the transmission says 1:1 Velvet Drive
I hear about powerslots, etc....but don't know which one mine is.
91 Prostar 190 351/holley

where do I measure the prop shaft? or does anyone know what is supposed to be on mine?

like I've said many times, I'm new to this boating stuff..... I hear Direct Drive & V-Drive....what is mine?

/thread derail

one of these days I hope I'm not a noob anymore:rant:

You have a direct drive 1:1 made by Velvet Drive. This has a 1" shaft and came with a 13x13 prop.

A Powerslot is a 1.5:1 direct drive transmission with a 1 1/8" shaft.

If you have a 1:1 I am 99.99% certain you have a 1" shaft

Also, direct drive means motor in the middle with the shaft going down and back at an angle in one straight shot. V-drive means motor in the back with the shaft initially going forward, then back through the hull, like a V. Yours is a direct drive.

Hey hey now. I bought it this way. I wouldn't treat my prop this way! Don't forget I have all of about 2 hours on my boat at most, thats' cruising at low speed around my lake after the transmission install.

Alright,

Who was the one with the Frig they were adding boat parts as the handle, etc.

These props may be something to add. Not just sure what to use them as...

That'd be TourneyChef. Maybe he could use it in place of the compressor fan to keep things cool.
