I have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD Diesel for sale if anyone is interested. It is a crew cab, short bx 4x4 with the Duramax LBZ/Allison Transmission. The truck has cloth interior and is in good condition with 32K miles. I have added a Lone Star grille guard, diamond plate tool box, XM radio and BFG All Terrain tires, otherwise it is totally stock. I made the mistake of looking at the new Silverado HDs and fell in love. Blue Book retail is $33,375 but I would be willing to listen to offers

Since this thread has started, I think I am posting in the right place (although DatDude might not like it too much).;)

I also have a 2006 Duramax for sale. All stock with an added Line-x spray on bedliner and an electric brake controller. 20,000 miles, Just changed fuel filter, oil and filter, rotated tires, and detailed it (buffed and waxed). $32,500.

Well......I traded in the old truck on a new one:D . I have to say the differences between 2006 and 2007.5 are amazing! The interior of the new truck is AWESOME!

If you are happy that is all that matters!

You are buying/selling a lot of machinery! Have you heard about the '08?

To which '08 are you referring? Snowmobile?

I have found that you need to rotate the inventory of toys to avoid getting bored with something:D .

Actually the trade worked out very well for me on the new truck. I had the old truck for 16 months and 35,000 miles and got $4300 less than I paid for it originally which is a pretty fair deal I think. It took some negotiation and patience but I made it work. I have bought my last 3 trucks from the same dealer (family friend) and know that I am getting a great deal on my trade and that the sale price of the new one is also good. I shopped about 10 different dealers and found a trade-in value range that varied by $4500 on almost identical trucks (within $1000 on the window sticker) .
