View Full Version : Loose cushion in the bow of my 2000 205

The arrow-shaped upper cushion in the nose of the bow of my 2000 205 has a loose attachment that's starting to rattle. I can't see any way to get at it to tighten it. Any ideas before I pull out my saber saw?

I would guess that its bolted in on the backside of the cushion. You'll likely have to make your arm quite flexible to reach up behind it.

Somebody else should come along shortly with a better answer, but that would be where I would start. Walk away from the saber saw, I repeat, walk away from the saber saw.

Thanks, I used to be good at weaseling stuff out of vending machines, but I'm almost positive there's a power tool solution to this.

There may just be expanding plastic connectors like what hold car door panels in. That was what held that cushion in in my 1992 205. Course that was a long time ago, and they only actually held the cushion for one season because I pulled the cushion out to clean it and could never get the little plastic thingys back into the holes.
