Anyone have or have seen a fully closed cooling / saltwater series MCX in an X1?

Trying to order one, but word is they don't fit in the space(!) The X1/ 205V has to have one of the roomiest engine compartments that I know of.

If anyone has seen one PLEASE post.

Thank you.

It isn't as roomy as it looks. With the rtp-1 and two piece exhaust manifolds, you only have less than a inch between the plastic compartment seporator and the exhaust manifolds.

True, but the raw water MCX fits with the EXT CAT manifolds.

I would think that the issue is that the antifreeze/freshwater tank that sits towards the transom is the potential space problem?

I could be wrong. It seemed to me that the salt water etx cat (x2) I looked at was huge compared to my x1. It could of been an optical ilusion, but the salt water series does have a cooling jacket that might make it bigger.

http://www.orcamarine.com/ has cooling systems for the MCX. I think Jim at BAWS is a dealer for them. I talked with Mike at Orca and it's about 1300.00 for the system and it's only a half system since the MCX uses the one piece manifolds.
