Cheap! I was just going to buy a car stereo CD player (cheap one) an amp, was thinking four cheap 6x9 speakers and 1 or 2 subwoofers and call it a day. Any Ideas, I have seen alot of off brand stuff (new) on ebay, any recommendations?

I used Ike Sound (web store) to buy my car stereo stuff for my boat. Alpine SPS-170A speakers and an Sony high power. No amp. Sounds great, good price. I would try to stay away from “off brand” if you can.
I cant say enough good stuff about Ike Sound. Like any place I think if you use a car stereo in a boat you void the warrantee.

I run the same speakers on my tower. They are great and they are not alot of money. I would recomend them they are solid.
