In my prostar the wood strips that hold the staples for the skins has is rotten and the staple are falling out. What can I replace the wood with and how do I glue the wood to the styrofoam? Has anyone had this problem?

I had the same problem with my boat: http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=12046
There are glues that can be used with the styrofoam. You need one without petroleum-based products in it. Go to Home Depot and read the labels on the glues they sell.

Milkmania went thru a similar situation with his back seat and I think his upholstery man used plastic strips, not wooden replacements. Check with him and he can hook you up with his thread on it, I can't find it, sorry.
