Has any of you guys skied the O’Brien Sixam? What did you think?? Does anyone know the difference between the 1.1 and the 1.0 flex pattern on that ski?

Hell NSS I wouldn’t worry about that, . I opened my mouth more than a thousand times before I even got a Mastercraft.

Thanks André, I found a site that has some conversation on the topic.

I am starting to poke around a little for a new ski. Also looking at used skis. I may go that rout but who knows

I just got home from skiing my new SixAm for the first time.
It skied allot different then the Mapple witch is what I have been skiing for the last two years.
It does not ride as deep in the water. I skied it like sh!t.
It was the first time out this year and I took it right to a course.
Today is the Sun and Snow tournament.
First water ski at Canyon Lake and then there is a GS race on the snow here in Big Bear.
Well I didn't make my opener  , and the GS race is at 5 today, I hope to win that. :D

André the lake is not frozen but it is cold, the temp is 49.
The ramps don't open till April first, and I will be the first fool in the water. :D

Ahhh...... finally someone else that realizes cold is only a state of mind. Please explain this concept to my wife.

I was looking at a used Sixam on Ski It Again. Good price and local. The guy has not responded to email yet. I would like to talk him into throwing a set of bindings back on it and letting me have a go.

So, Mark, I take it you read the most recent thread about the sixam and the monza on the nichols site? What are you riding now? Sorry, I forgot.

Oh, and to answer your question, I was skiing, not shoveling snow. Picked up on Friday and went to my father-in-law's place. Mostly a end of winter clean up, but I managed to rig up all my course materials (new subs and magnets), which will be installed over Easter.
