Hi everyone! I just bought an 87 Prostar and am having the upholstery redone. I am getting a good deal on custom work-$600 for the whole boat! That includes all material and labor. The observers seat side piece is held on to the hull with several plastic "push pins". Some of these are broken. Where can I get them, the nearest MC dealer is two and a half hours away! Any help would be great!
p.s. I read a couple of threads here about seat work and could not find any info on this.

If you think they are MasterCraft specific I would call Rambo marine and ask them.
$600 for material and labor is a great deal!!

$600 is unbelievable, have you gotten a chance to see any other work they have done? I was quoted $600 just to do the whole back seat. To do the bottom cushions on the back seat, driver seat, and spotter seat was going to be $500. Great deal, just make sure it isn't too good to be true. :twocents:

Do these pins hold the skin to the seat base? Mine's attached with stainless staples.

Yes I have seen their work and it is good. They have done work for me in the past and I trust the place. She is a little old hispanic lady just trying to make a living. No, the plastic pins do not hold the skins on, that is stainless staples. These are under the foam and go through the plywood and push into holes drilled in the fiberglass to attach the piece to the hull. They are kinda like what holds on the door panels of most trucks,
the pins should be standard issue - check the hardware or auto parts store. As an alternate in that location you may be able to add t-nuts and bolt 'em on similar to the sidewall install. Less rattle and easier to remove.

Thanks k2mc and everyone else, I was hoping they were not some off the wall size or something. I'll try and get some pics up as I get my interior back.

Well, not to revive an old topic, but...The price I got on my seats WAS to good to be true! After 3 weeks of no progress, the lady tells me she underetimated! She wanted another $400!!! needless to say I picked up my seats, and had to pay for the material she already ordered for me! So now I have to find someone else, and probably pay much more. Ah, the joys of having a boat......
