I have a used Holley 4160 from my '85. $50 and its yours. The carburator was running on the engine. Idled well and ran great at speed. It was hesitating at a fast hole shot. More than likely the accelerator pump needs to be replaced. If it were me I would probably do a rebuild. This would be a great carb for someone to pick up to replace a 4010 that has been having hot stall issues or replace your old worn out carb. Carb rebuild kit can be had for $50 from DIM. So for $100 total you can have a great rebuilt. New these babies are $499.

Tim, you going to run two carbs at once?

I'm hopeful.

Ha, no. I figure with all the projects I have going on, its good to have a spare. I'll rebuild it and stick it on something before too long.

You mean EFI? Thats a wonderful thing, but Im after the extra mph instead... and a carb is easier to tune ;)
