Okay, I need to vent about something.
In December, I ordered new rub rail/insert for my boat through a local boat store. A month later while I was still waiting for 2 of the 4 pieces, I received a letter in the mail informing me it could take up to another 30 days! Thinking this was unacceptable, I contacted another store (as well as Taco directly) who called Taco to make sure they could send out what I needed. Taco told the store they had discontinued the rail I ordered and there was a new similar replacement. Taco told me they still had some on the shelf they could send me the next day, but I had to order it through a retailer. So I called the store back and told them what Taco told me. He called Taco back and sure enough, got the same story I got. The store told me it would go out the next day and I could pay extra to have it drop shipped 3 days later. So I ordered more and cancelled my original order. Well, surprise, it didn't show up yesterday like it was supposed to. I called this morning and they said it has a "7 day lead time" - so it won't even ship for 7 days!
Anyone else had any problems with Taco? Am I overreacting?
