My wife and I went to cancun last year...about 2g. We did have a wedding ceramony though..all inclusive, flew out of MSP.

What about disney Land?:D

Tennessee is beautiful this time of year, and the water is still warm enough.

Drive to the Panhandle of Florida, still in the 80's get on the beach. Find a rental place on www.vrbo.com (http://www.vrbo.com) for a week at $700 and you have $300 left for fun.

$1,000 won't get you much. You'll have to drive since air tickets will eat up a good portion of it. When are you planning on going? Where in the midwest do you live?

It is usually cheaper to go to Cancun then Florida, but you have to have a passport these days. I wouldn't suggest driving to Cancun though. ;)

I would recommend South Padre Island, TX. Awesome place to vacation and not too expensive. It reminds me alot of Cancun.

No Passport for Puerto Rico...I'll have to look into that.

We're planning to go somewhere warm in March and are in the process of requesting passports in prep. Thinking of Ixtapa...

FYI you can get expedited passport service which they can get you a passport door to door in three weeks or less. It costs extra. Usual turn around time is 4-6 weeks.

Passports aren’t an issue for us. Just trying to do the trip on a budget. Jamie

It was in the 80s in Orlando last weekend. And there are a ton of ski schools where you can ski the course. I go there several times a year -- feel free to PM me if you have any questions or want some suggestions.

Pensacola, Fl or Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL would be a great place to go. Very nice white sand beaches and now lots of condos and resorts to choose from. The Redneck Riviera.

Or come to New Orleans. Lots of fun to be had around here. Food, music, plantations, swamp tours, drinking. Bring your ski and I'll pull you.

Disneyland is the happiest place on earth!

You can put a tent in my backyard, if you would like! Hell, I will even run an extention cord out there for power and let you use the pool bath and shower! :D

Try considering a trip to Cali, you could hit up Yosemite, Napa, SF, or even consider traveling up the Bullards Bar, one of the Jewel lakes of the Sierra Nevada mtns.

Marco Island, FL.

Not sure about slalom course near there though:rolleyes:
I'm sure there's something nearby. (There is a guy who runs a wakeboard school/camp there)

What are you talking about Bullards Bar is a horrible place don't go there. And don't tell your friends about it.

How about a trip to a cable park. 2 in Florida (OWC is the best), Texas will be warm soon. Cable park tickets are not to expensive.

I have never even heard about it and if I have heard about it, I heard it was so horrible that I should forget about it! :D
