I thought I might start a thread to post our 4x4's. Post your offroad misadventures here. Got the idea from uawaterskier's little problem.

Here is my 01 Ranger chugging through two feet or so of river. Water was coming in her, but she chug-a-lugged herself out.

Here is my buddies 3.5" lifted ZJ with 32" rubber. He got a little overconfident and planted her here on the riverbank coming out. Luckly we had the mighty ranger to pull his Grand cherokee out. On the way back across once the weekend camping trip was over, he chose a better crossing.

We were the only campers on the other side of the river, well worth it.

Sorry posted the thumbnail. No it isnt a minivan. He got stuck pulling his old holiday trailer which he got for free from a neighbours farm. All we had to do was camoflage paint it.

I wish I had some pictures, but I have a 47 Willy's CJ2A and had a 55 Willy's pickup truck. I used to wheel the truck up in Tahuya State Forrest when I lived in Belfair, WA. The jeep is currently on the farm in Missouri.

uncle boo, nice rig. DO you find the extra foot in from of the back tire there helps with traction? lol

I do find it interesting that those pathfinders had separate chassis and body. I thought they were unibody like Jeep ZJ's and XJ's etc.

Here's a pic of my TJ at the Rubicon. I love the way the axles are flexing -- the front axle flexing one direction, the rear the other direction, and the body level.

We had a great time on the Rubicon. That Jeep was a fun rig, too bad I don't have it any more.
