That is a great looking boat. A 197 will be my next boat in a couple of years.

Nice boat. I'll trade you straight across for a '97 and an '85. You can keep the tower and racks.

Jim -

Sweet boat - love the colors. Looking to upgrade from my 2000 PS195, the 197 is definitley my next boat.

You mentioned MC Reunion, is that a local event? My two friends that I ski with are planning a trip to Lutz, FL next month (cousin lives there) and looking to grab some lessons and get time on the water (our season is about done up here in MI). Any suggestions on lessons? I know we are "Yankees" but is there any place where we can get lessons and not have to share the water with gators? :) Seriously! I just wouldn't be able to concentrate and push myself knowing them beasts are in the water! Please share some details about the MC Reunion (dates, etc) and I'll see if we can plan our trip around those dates!

Thanks -
Lee

Lee,

Look here for information on Jim's event. I wish I could go, meet Jim and shake his hand.

Gators are in all bodies of water down there, I ski'd w/ Jim a few years ago and had the same thoughts as you. However once you get down there you'll be in the water before you know it.

Steve - Thanks for the link! November 10th just might work! Don't plan on trailering my MC from MI :D - but would be fun to attend!

Eric - I hear what you are sayin, but man, gators? I can deal with snakes and pretty much anything else, I just don't know! :o I guess I've read to many articles, listened to the news, and watched to many movies. We'll see!

Thx!

I can personally attest that this 197 that is for sale is one bad-*** Prostar. It is the strongest pulling boat I have ever skied behind, and that includes the Big Block ones!!
Heck, I think it has all of 15 hours on it? It's not even broke in. Plus it has every toy on it imaginable :D
This 197 would be a great addition for any of you! Pass the word that it is for sale
Dave

MIMC- Just let Jim and I know when you are coming down. We all live on the same lake, and my boat is generally on the lift in the back yard.

Nice ride Jim, I would love to drag it back to Ohio but I think Erkle would be too upset I didn't buy from him!
