Does anyone have an extra prop for my '85 Slot that is in good condition that they are willing to sell cheap? The one on my '85 has a couple of dings in it and its vibrating a bit.

Brian, I don't know if there's a deal out there as good as getting it refurb'd by OJ.

I might have one, but I must say that I am embarassed that I do not know the diff between, as you call it a power "slot" prop and a standard.

Long time MC owner and I would love to know the difference, cuz if I knew, I may be able to accomodate your needs, I have a few good props not in use....

I agree with sending it in for rehab.
The 85 should have came with a 14 x 18 with a 1-1/8 in shaft.

That is what is on the boat. I may send this one to OJ. But someone here sent me a PM about an XMP that may be a better solution.

On our 92 PS 190 slot we replaced the original 3 blade 14x18 with a OJ 454 XMP (Eric @ OJ's recommendation). Lowered the rpm's by 100 and softened the rooster tail @34 mph, holds 18 - 24 mph like an ox, improved fuel economy, and maybe a touch smoother, but harder to tell, was always pretty smooth. Overall it was a great upgrade for the $.
