As of 0300 this morning, ,I have been in the Air Force for 21 years

time sure does fly when you're having fun!

Seems like just yesterday I left home

Call me a lifer!

I'm not a pilot, I'm a maintainer but I'm currently in a very unique postion that one of my duties is Flight Mechanic on

RC-135V/W
TC-135 W/S
NC-135W
RC-135U
RC-135S
WC-135C/W
and a KC-135R

shooting for 26 unless I screw up and get promoted then I can stay 30

thought the same thing, got out of the Army after 8 years now 8 years ago. Next year I will have been married longer than I was single.

well ted im in the same boat as u i got 12 yrs in only 8 to go then im out unless the war ends then ill stay in longer

Well done Farmer Ted,
That is a pretty good run but as we say down here, get some time up.
I'm 24 years full time air force ant 3 years part time army before that....saw the light so to speak.
Well done....you should push on to thirty.

That's a long time for any job considering how much people job hop these days. My sister was in the military for many years and I know there can be a lot of stress. Keep up the good work.
