Just curious how many of you spend your 'idle time' on the water like me?

Sitting on a life jacket in the water sipping a cold one always works for me.

That's a very nice boat there H2O, but I believe you may have a problem... :uglyhamme
I wait till I get to the garage to do that.

Idle time = YES and anytime on the water is great! Nothing else like it
I stayed off the golf course last summer to spend time on the water. After august it was in a boat that has a color scheme much like yours.

When cooling off at the swimming hole, I will wipe mine down.
Glad to see you found a good use for that cushion.

I thought that looked firmilliar... I've been down there a few times, but usually in the early fall when the houseboating rates are a little cheeper. By that time the water's a litle lower, but there's nobody else you have to share the lake with.

Actually, I took this photo after waxing the bow where it comes in contact to the boat buddy. You know, that area you can never get to on the trailer!

We probably spend 1/4 of our time on the boat motionless. During summer week nights, it's not uncommon for my wife & I to sit on the boat, still on the lift, with the ceiling fan on, listening to some toons drinking some adult beverages. Very Very relaxing. Nothing like it in the world!

Nick--We love to float, swim, listen to music. However, I cannot say that I have cleaned the boat while it's in the water like that. I think their is a clinical diagnosis for that!! Just kidding. The boat looks great.
if the motor is running-we are riding, enjoying music, refreshing adult beverages, and looking at lake houses and docks.
not running-enjoying music, floating, and refreshing adult beverages.
I love the lake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats funny....... I have a buddy who has a vacation place in Sunland..... central WA desert on the Columbia Gorge. More than a few times we've partied on the boat while sitting in the garage! Tunes cranked, disco lights goin, dancing girls, the whole nine yards! The neighbors hear it & bring their own adult beverages..... before you know it there is 15 or 20 people partying in Manland! :headbang:
When my father passed away several years ago, we had his main friends over a couple of days before the funeral. My old boat(ski supreme) was in the driveway. All of the younger crowd climbed in the boat and enjoyed cold beer and telling stories on "Super Dave". I'm sure he was watching and enjoying watching us remember him!

My Dad was very laid back and did not watch alot of TV- We called him that for years and he never knew that there was such a show. He just thought it was some dumb@$$ thing that I made up.

We need to start a support group! We should meet once a month and share our stories now that we know we're not alone :headbang: . Ohh yea - the adult beverages will be a requirement. Did I mention I have one of those black-n-decker battery-operated blenders?
Blenders = Boat Drinks. I think boat lift party pictures will be getting posted this summer.

Those blenders can be trouble! I bought one for our last sailing trip down in the BVIs. After 'feeling' our way into Anagada (that's putting it nicely... unmarked channels and moving sandbars aren't fun to navigate) we decided to fire up the blender. The we decided to rig up a rope swing from the top of the mast. Pulled the boom all the way over to one side and you'd walk out to the end, swing around the back of the boat and then jump in the water on the other side. Great fun. But I'm sure everyone else at anchor thought we were the biggest bunch of buffoons they ever saw! Needless to say we were moving a bit slow in the AM.

The power of Boat Drinks. You obviously were the happiest folks at anchor. Funny story.

wearing a ski jacket like a diaper, holding a cold one and just chillin. Of course there was on day last summer, where the tamest thing was the girls doing body shots :) We ditched the kids for the weekend, wife's best friend and her sister came over, and next thing we know, best friends entire family was there, including kids :( I was not in a great mood, but we put all the kids in one boat, I had the women in mine, the "extras" left late afternoon, then the party started! Friend that had a party that night was real happy we came, girls became the entire life of the party, guess after we left, it flat out died. ah, sweet memories.
