Should you wax before winter and let it over winter or wait until a few weeks before it goes back in the water?

Maybe I should be asking who does both? Or their preference?

I wax in the fall and once or twice during the season typically. More if needed, but it's stored indoors.

I wax at least every 52,560th time the Weather Channel does the weather on the 8's or whenever I get bored or the notion hits me!

I'm almost embarrased to say, but I only wax once every few years.

we wax about every month, and clean the hull with the acid cleaner to get the lake scum off the gel. When we go out, we're usually out for 3-4 days so the build up gets pretty bad, but we wash as soon as we get home, and then wax about every third time we go out!

It's not as much as how often you wax, but what you use and how you do it!:)

Go with both, just don't sniff it while applying. See Rod's last post, he must have been waxing and sniffing.

I just finished waxing "The MC" but noticed that it did not remove any water spots. Any tips for removing water spots? Any products that are for water spots? I also noticed that I have 3 very small cracks in the fiber glass right below the rubber bumper. Is this something that I should be treating or is this not treatable? Any advice would be great.

Whenever you cannot get out on the water is always a good time. Trading water time for wax time is never good.
