The Fly High Ballast System in an Xstar

Nick, at the Portland Ski Boat Center installed one on a 2006 X-Star. He is a very good wakeboarder and he said it is hands down the best wake ever! Give him a call 503-892-9965.

yep, well its not my boat but I have used it and I consider it a must have. Wake is PERFECT (for me at least).
Here is a pick from one of the best days this summer, only one other boat on the water, two buds and a full tank of gas.

Has there been any issues with it? DOes he have the 4 extra sacs plumbed in to the stock system?

Yes, it's plumbed into stock. Said it works great, except one of the front sacs doesn't drain all the way, but he thinks he has a fix!

Do you have his email address so I can contact him with a few questions?

Try this, but ask for Nick's e-mail address. He's in the proshop...

Thanks so much!

I think the system comes with/uses valves to fill the extra sacs seperately from the stock tanks, is this right?
Where's the best place to buy this system from? I'm looking to add ballast to my '05 X-star as well.

Takes awhile to download.....

What about a prop change with the ballast system>
10-01-2007, 09:31 AM
14.25x14 is the prop you want if you have the mcx! I'm not sure about the other motors. If you bought your boat from a dealer just contact the dealer, and have them order it for you! My dealer gave me a great deal on mine, but each dealer is different! Even if you didn't buy your boat from the dealer i would hope they would hook you up! I would think you would get atleast 10%-25% off.

the oj prop xmp prop makes a unbelieveable difference in the xstar. I would bet you pay off the prop in a summer via gas savings with getting out of the hole in half the time fully loaded

Ok...what is an oj prop xmp prop and where do you get them and info about them?

Springer, try this.

Thanks for the info.......I am on it.
