Just had to say it.

I'll be there. Two undefeated PAC-10 teams playing their guts out Saturday at Autzen Stadium. ESPN College Gameday on location. Toss in a few cold beers and I will be having the perfect afternoon!

Any predictions on who wins?

I think cal has too much speed on offense and special teams for Oregon.
however Cal's Defense is nothing special and Oregon will score.
what's the point spread ?

my pick Cal 38 Oregon 27

Agree, USC looks dominate, but they tend to get board in some games.
USC defense looks sloppy against the pass so far. cal will give the Trojan trouble but Cal cannot stop the rush and USC might run for 400yds against them:D :D

True Dat! I am actually gearing up for a purchase next winter. For now, I am just going to keep living with my parents and collecting rent on the house I bought last year... the house that will be worth half what I paid for it in about a year. It is supposed to be a long term investment right!?!?!?

Sure! I am always amazed by what houses are valued for on the left coast..
Of couse that house is on relatively small lake 45min drive to Charlotte. Nothing like the prices on Wylie or Norman....

That house would be at least what 2-3 mil in Cali???

Sodar, you'll need to buy another boat for that garage!!

Yeah, if we had a lake within 45 minutes of a major city!! Our closest body of water, with houses on it is the size of a freaking pond (Canyon Lake). It is about 1 1/2 from Los Angeles. Here is a home for sale on the water, there. This is a little extravagent, but all the waterfront homes there, are! (http://redfin.com/stingray/do/printable-listing?listing-id=523254)

Hmmm, Locker and Co seemed to have problems with UCLA's sieve and a half defense... whom fell asleep and got pummeled by UTAH??? Not sure if Locker will be up for the task of a much large and much stiffer defense then UCLA.

On top of that, Washington has given up 77 points in it's last two games... and USC has been averaging 48 a game (and not playing that well) Shouldn't be hard for John David Booty to score at will.

Tyrone Willingham did have Pete Carrol's number when he was at Stanford... and Locker is an amazing player... but, if just doesn't added up that they can pull it off.

Who knows... guess that's why they still actually go out and play the games!

I second that! After a few years of frigid Minnesota winters... had to make a break for warmer weather. Don't think I will ever go back!

BTW, I think that the USC-UCLA game this year will be the one to watch... especially after last year.

Any UCLA - Oregon State predictions??

I agree that USC smokes Washington....on paper. However, if it rains, a Washington upset could be in the cards. I didn't double check this fact, but someone posted that USC is 1-10 in Seattle when it rains. On the other hand, the U.S.C. teams of the last several years are much better and much better coached than the U.S.C. teams of the past. But then again...(kidding).

It's raining like hell in Eugene with about 21 hours left before kickoff. I hope the weather forecast saying tomorrow will be little to no rain during the game is accurate. Nothing quiets a crowd like a downpour! : (

What a game! Ended one foot from forcing overtime! Ducks had more total yards, first downs, etc. but four turnovers by Oregon and zero for Cal was the difference. Cal deserved their win.

Cal 31
Oregon 24.

And they did, but only in the fourth quarter... game was tight until then. I think that Ben Olson was pretty rusty, and then final got rhythm. UCLA seemed to stiffen up the D quite a bit... a much more complete game from the defensive side.

Pac-10 is looking relly tough this year... too bad they have to beat each other up in the conference games.

Looks like they used every trick in the book and almost pulled it off. Despite winning, that game cost USC it's No.1 ranking... and rightly so. However, I don;t think it fully give Washington the credit they deserve. Reflects how tough the Pac 10 is this year.

That game was really uncomfortable to watch... and almost boring because there were so many penalties. I would hate to be at practice this week for USC.

I hope so, unfortunatly, haven't really seen a complete game against anyone yet... Nebraska was about as close as it got... but, they are so much better then what they've been showing.
