Guys we have been looking at boats for the last few months. Previously we had our mind set on a 07 to 08-X2, however we found an 06-x15 with 68hrs for 51k. Boat is supposedly in excellent condition, has tower speakers, heater, bimini, trailer, etc. Does this sound like a good deal?

Any info on the differences (pros or cons) would be appreciated. What would you do?

I love that boat your looking at, it is a sick x15. My very first post on this board was to ask the same question found here. http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=11596

pros.. x15 is bigger for more people. Has traditional bow (personally I like the pickle fork). Throws a little better wake from what I have heard. X15 will be a little better in the rough water.

cons... x15 won't fit in standard garage. bigger and heavier if hauling around every weekend (I would have gotten an x15 if boat stayed in one location).

Can't think of any more off the top of my head. I am sure others will chime in.

I chose the X2 because it fits in my garage and I tow it every weekend to the lake. If I had it moored at a dock I might have chosen the x15 instead. I love the pickle fork bow now and use it all the time to load and unload quickly from the boat to get the car at the ramp. Also my suburban can haul the X2 no problem but it may struggle some with an x15 over long trips. You can't go wrong with either boat.

That is a good price.

To be honest, get the '06, that is a pretty good price for that boat.
