I have a long trip ahead of me w/ my 2004 X2 and single axel MC trailer and want to have the correct spare tire/rim with me. Instead of paying $500 for the alloy rim from MC, where can I get the correct steel rim replacement?

I know it is a six bolt patter, but Tirerack was asking me questions re: the bolt spacing and the diameter of the center bore.

This thread was great, but didn't answer my question.

Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks - J

Trailers by Dorsey http://www.trailersbydorsey.com/partscatalogue/2007%20Color%20Parts%20Catalog.pdf has what you need. Chrome wheel and Goodyear Marathon for about $150 see page 38.

Tire Rack operators may not be so well informed. Local Goodyear shop told me bolt pattern is standard for trailer wheels, so he gave me a cheapie steel wheel 15" for my 02 trailer. FWIW in retrospect I would really rather have an aluminum MC rim - could avoid having to use a black cover over it.

I have a brand new 6 bolt rim that does not fit my trailer. I need the 5 bolt. Any one want to buy it, I could post up a picture. It does not have a tire and has never been mounted on the trailer. It matches the trailer rims that are on the MasterCraft boats.

Rims come on the boats, is that an option?
