Just curious how everone elses water temp guage works. Mine is always on the climb while i use it, even though the outside temp hasn't changed much. It's always done this and I just chucked it up to the boat getting warmer and transferring the heat to the sending unit. For instance we started this morning ant the guage read 64 (it was really cold this morn in MI, air was 40 at 7:30a), by the end of the run the air was 45 and the water temp read 73. It seems to always do this since I've owned the boat.

Mine climbs a bit too, but not usually more then 2-3 degrees tops. My air temp sensor is under the dash area, so if I have the heater on, and you can bet I would when the air temp is near 40, the value is distorted by the warm air coming out of the heater.

The other day we were out, and the lake temp read 68 shortly after launching, and was sort of toggling between 69 and 70 by the end of the session.
