Hello,

I have a 1985 190 Blue/Gray Stars & Stripes. My transom vent disappeared a couple of months ago. Any ideas on where to find a replacement?

Cheers!

Scott

Sorry, no help. But you are not alone. There are a number of people looking for the vents on the older boats.
Mine are still good and I keep them soaked in 303 to prolong their life, but I know I will need them someday.

I was thinking of making one something like that if needed, but closer to OEM out of aluminum. It would be machined on the backside to fit over the rubrail like the orginal.
Good projet for me some winter evening learning how to program the CNC.

Thanks for the input everyone!

Hey Duckguy. Did you have your transom vent made or just purchase it from someone?

Very Nice!

Cheers!

IIRC, that is a pic of yellow78mc's boat. The bow vent is simular.
