Anyone ever run into this? 89 prostar 190 turns to the right easily but hard to turn left (have to use both hands) also leans more to the right but thaqt might be the extra lbs i've put on. Thanks everyone.

my 1989 does the same - although it is not terribly hard to steer left, the rotation (counter-rotation of the prop) means you are turning against it when you turn left (the prop is cupped right).

May remove the rear floor board between the tank and the rear of the motor box, grease the steering fittings.

Boat will definatly lean right with the smallest weight difference (I am 150 pounds and it does it with just me) - if you are like 220 or up, it definately will.

Hope that helps

Search for the thread about filing the rudder. Most people want a little torque on the rudder, not completely neutral.
