I am looking for a new or used MC single axle trailer for a 2000 MC Maristar 210 - mine sustained some damage similar to the thread discussing a wheel dismount at 55 mph. Insurance company is looking at repair or replace options and local MC dealership seemed to come in a bit high.

Last I heard, the price of steel was up and, thus, so was the price of trailers. How much is a new single axle or dual axle MC trailer run?

Around $5000 for single. That price make repair more likely and I would obviously like the replacement option.

Wow! Either steel has gone up a bit more in the last year or WOW! I'd have guessed $3,500 for a single.

Nice find but I think that it would be a bit long for my 210 - also looking for white if possible. Thanks for the find though.

My dealer quoted a new single at $4000 for my 07 when I bought it.

Refurbing a trailer is the way to go unless it is in HORRIBLE shape (ie. rusted through members). I have seen some ugly trailers that look brand new after refurbing them. Most trailer shops will yank the boat off, blast the trailer, paint it, rewire, new brakes and lights all for MUCH less than the price of ANY new trailer. I did mine on my own aside from the sandblasting and painting for about $1700, but I also did EVERYTHING including LED lights, new winch, jack, disc brake, actuator, etc., etc. etc.

Thanks for the input. $5K seemed high to me also. Looks like the insurance co will go the rehab route due to the cost of new. Needs hub, fender, rear cross member, springs, etc.

Looks like I am looking at a new trailer. If any of the MC owners out there have something that would work for my boat please PM me - include delivery to Spokane, WA in pricing.
